"The plant that ate the world."

 

Japanese Knotweed is indeed a sneaky and effective destroyer. It can break through roads, sidewalks, and housing foundations. It crowds out native species and increases riverbank erosion. It would seems that nothing could stop it from taking over the world but with a little knowledge and some perseverance we can reduce it's impact on our infrastructure and prevent it from spreading to new sites.
